1942 Harley Davidson WLA Flat Head in Las Cruces, NM

Here is a true "BARN FIND". It is a 1942 WLA "War bike". Look closely at the pictures. There is a lot of history being told by this machine. I am not an expert on these bikes by any means. But I will tell you what I know about it. When I came across it, I was told that the engine and tranny were filled with Marvel mystery oil before being stored. I was able to cycle the engine and tranny with the kick starter by hand with little effort. I looked very closely at all the fins on the heads and cylinders and none are broken and I couldn't even find a chip.The Beehive taillight red lens looks to be perfect. The seat is in excellent condition. The leather is dry and has typical surface cracks but not torn at all.
